today was a special day! "jean" did her first tire roast, and it was on route 66!!!!
talk about effortless! ha!
today we met two great gentlemen! wally and bob! they were kind enough to tell us we left our lights on in the parking lot when entering a tasty little taqueria.

last night, we pulled into pat's super cool sister's place in phoenix, az. she had a bottle of patron waiting for us and smoked a nice cigar with us too! you can't build better sisters than elaine!
she also owns the world's largest dog. this giant shit machine is named "goliath", and rightly so. one sweet fun loving animal!
on a sad note, his brother sampson was put down this morning. he had failed badly in the past 2 days, so it was the right thing to do. i was humbled to be able to meet him.
this is pat getting his hand pulled off by goliath. the blood was cleaned up pretty quick. ;)
today we left phoenix and drove to vegas. got to see some sweet country along the way and some nice curvy roads which the camaro chewed up nicely. that thing handles like a porsche. no kidding.
funniest thing today. we entered a homeland security check point near hoover dam. when we pulled up, the lead guy just sat there and starred, and all he could say was "i just had to.......", so i rev'ed the motor, then a popped the clutch and burned out of there right in front of him. he was in a stupor. it felt great pretty great. ;)
