we left pacifica this morning around 9:00. (because we could) ;) -- hey i'm on vacation!
we are having difficulty getting the video up and going, so tomorrow we will try to find a suitable cable to import into the computer to start building movies. so we'll just post some photos tonight.
first pic is of pat driving his car for the first time out of the audio shop's garage. amazing place. always several $100,000.00 cars in there getting audio and interiors by byron.
this was a popular sight today. every time i looked over at the helmsman, i saw this:
the camaro is really running nicely! we are treating "jean" very respectfully during her 1000 miles break-in.
getting to do break-in's on new motors is a very special thing one gets to do in life. how you break it in will determine the motor's characteristics later on.
jean got a new console to go with her new manual tranny, the new shifter and console look awesome.
on the way down the coast this morning, we stopped by "lo brow fine art" - a swanky cult pop art gallery in santa cruz, ca. curator and design legend monte atherton strikes some "mr. california" poses for the camaro cam. who's got "stashtitude"?

here is a pic of the monster alternator. this thing produces 140 AMPS! (you can die from 10)
this helps the monster audio system take aural control. (notice the high flange on the alternator, it helps keep the belt from jumping ship)
