Oct. 19: trip route

hola amigos.

here is a rough route that we will be taking from SF to miami:

- hwy 1 from SF to LA along the coast - the scenic route.
- when we get to LA, we will go inland at santa monica to hyw 10.
- we then take hwy 10 to phoenix to stop by pat's sister's place.
- then taking hwy 17 up to hwy 40 to drop by the petrified forest.
- we'll take 40 to Albuquerque, then get on I-25 to Salida, CO (for stop-over to see brother ron)
- we leave salida and head up I-25 to see Kent, Skins and all of or old friends. we'll stay a few nights there. (hoping for no snow)
- we leave denver on hwy 76, to I-80 to Lincoln to rescue my chevelle and introduce her to jean! and see my folks.
- leaving Lincoln, we'll get back down to I-70 via hwy 29 to St. Louis.
- We'll catch hwy 64 to hwy 24 that will drop us into Nashville (yeehaa!).
- then hwy 24 to hwy 75 and take hwy 75 all the way to miami.

we'll do a posting each night with photos and stories of the days events.
along the way, we will stop, take GPS coordinates of a "specially chosen" place and bury a nice bottle of tequila for the eventual trip from NE to SF in the chevelle. ;)
